Fabulous Fall Families // Autumn 2019 //

Fall is probably my favourite time of year to take family photos, and I’m so glad that other people seem to agree! Take a peek below to see some of the fantastic families who joined me over the last couple of months…

The Bell family is up first. Angela’s sweet parents came up from the United States to visit their daughter, son-in-law and grandbabies. Of course, we did what anyone should do on a delightful, sunny fall day: we went to a pumpkin patch! It was an honour to capture these special moments between this family who lives so far apart from one another.

There was also the Backman family. As you can see, this family is full of love, spunk, and giggles. I LOVED seeing Ryan snuggle with all of his girls, Joce’s sassy attitude, Cece’s sweet smiles, and Adrienne’s fierce mama strength.

And then there was the Rayner family. I love this little family so much. The lighting during this shoot was absolutely incredible, and Luke was a real trooper, especially after full afternoon at the zoo. All in all, one of my favourite little sessions over the fall!

Ashleigh’s family was a pleasure to meet! Ashleigh and I know each other from a local Mom & Tot group, but I hadn’t yet had the pleasure of meeting her delightful hubby and eldest daughter. During the short session we had together, I could see that Rene and Ashleigh make one heck of a team, and their girls are incredibly blessed to have them as parents.

And of course, I had to take the opportunity to photograph my own sweet babes in the leaves, and I am so thrilled with how the photos turned out! One of the best things about being a mom (in my opinion) is watching the your kids discover the world around them. Finn had pure joy when playing in the leaves or rolling the pumpkins across the yard. It makes me appreciate everything around us so much more, being able to see it all through the eyes of my toddler.

So there you have it. A few pictures of a few of the wonderful families I’ve had the pleasure of working with over this fall season. As always, one of the best parts of this type of work is getting to meet people and getting to know some of their stories. So, to my amazing clients, THANK YOU! It’s always an absolute pleasure, and I cannot wait to work with you again!
