A Whirlwind of a Summer // Summer 2019 //

So much has happened over the last few months, both personally as well as professionally! Let me catch you up…

The Holloway Family grew by two little feet. Miss Casey Caroline was born on May 17th, 2019 at a healthy 8 lbs 2 oz! She is now just over 4 months old, and we cannot imagine our family without her.

Other personal happenings included a family trip to Alberta for my sister’s wedding (welcome to the family, Craig!) and to see Jeff’s side of the family. We took a couple of days and went to Canmore, AB to enjoy the fresh Rocky Mountain air.

We also enjoyed little day trips, including ones to Peggy’s Cove to see the lighthouse (Finn is a huge fan!) and to Eastern Passage.

Professionally, I’ve been really excited to have done so many shoots, especially so quickly after having given birth. There have been a number of family sessions, a couple of family reunions, graduations, a special pregnancy announcement, and a feature for Ocean Clean-Up Day with GLAD Canada!

Another exciting thing that happened this summer was two collaborations with fellow photographer Krystina from Krystina Marie Photography and Design. She asked if I would shoot two weddings with her, and it was an amazing experience! So much so, that I’ve already got another booking for next summer!

Overall, it’s been a crazy whirlwind of a summer! And as fun as it was, I’m looking forward to Fall really getting into full swing. So many beautiful fall colours, sweater-weather, and of course, family sessions!
